No Tests the Second Time Around

Dear Friends,
I’ve been functioning as a student’s scribe for the last few weeks. During this time, I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in a high school classroom minus the ‘pressure.’ I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience the second time around. Much to my surprise, I’m absorbing Trig and Chemistry, my past personal nightmares. Both course teachers have exceptional delivery styles.

If I’d had the good fortune of learning from either one of these instructors, I might have become a mad scientist or a power broker with a ‘smancy’ car. Who knows? Anyway, yesterday I was me. Me had some free time in school and used it to sketch some ideas for future posts. This first concept was glued in my head from a prior conversation with a fellow blog friend about astrological signs. Guess what I am 🙂

This second sketch was stuck in my head from a chemistry class. I can’t wait to flesh her out in kooky colors!

Thank you. May you dream of floating on stars and swinging by your hair.

  1. I found you in the blogosphere, young lady, but not in my mailbox yet! 🙂 (And btw I do see a smaller version of one of the sketches — the plugin?) I know what you mean about learning, now, as an adult. Sometimes I think education is wasted on the youth. 🙂 But really, “back then” I wasn’t always ready and desiring the knowledge — now, I am. So glad you got some “me time” yesterday in school; we all need that. Have a wonderful day, AnnMarie!

    • I’m going have to start on the road of that steep learning curve. My web woman has finished up at her end. There are still things I need to adjust, but I’ll have to think like a pioneer and brave up already! Thank you for letting me know about the post Deb, I really appreciate the info. I can’t see my post in the Reader on my end and I don’t know why. I must have messed something up.
Hey, tftf and hope you are having a wondrous day!
      AnnMarie 🙂
I must give an art lesson now…

      • AnnMarie, a little update on the blogging front: I was actually able to “add” your blog to my Reader simply by typing in your address — it was that easy! I don’t know why you can’t see your own post, though.

You ARE already higher than I am on the learning curse; case in point, I had to look up “tftf” — very impressed that you knew that! I didn’t! 🙂

Hope the art lesson went well . . .

      • I was able to see my posts until I tried fixing it myself and now it’s gone – oh well. I’ll try something else this weekend when i have time to read more…maybe I’ll be able to figure out what’s wrong.
tftf – funny, I thought I made that up – I knew it was too easy 😉 Lesson went well – very sweet student. Hope you had a productive day too 🙂

      • You’ll figure it out — and then you’ll feel like a real techie! Glad the lesson went well. I taught a class this afternoon; it was okay. Glad to have a few days ahead of me to write.

    • Hah, I knew I should’ve put a ring through his nose – Taurus, but thank you for guessing something with horns. That’s what happens when one tries taking drawing liberties and goes a bit wonky with sketching 😉 He could be a ram couldn’t he 🙂
      AnnMarie 🙂
