  1. … and if you don’t know who you are?
    Kidding! ๐Ÿ™‚
These are inspirational words for a sluggish Saturday, AMRK.
Thank you for bringing them to us with your incredible art.
Remember: You’re a helluva artist and writer, my friend.
    Never forget that.

      • You should, ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m kidding …
Actually, I’ve poured myself a 2nd glass of wine … frickin’ Michigan football, we should have won that game. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.
We coulda also been in South Bend tonight watching Notre Dame — I’d rather be on my couch watching on TV, drinking my sorrows away.
A pig head, eh? I’ve got some directions hanging on my cork board!
I mean every word I say, have said about your talent, AMRK.

      • You know my thoughts on wine – always good:)
I’ve been in the basement serving as assistant to pig head sculpting, so didn’t follow any foozball today. Sorry for the loss – unfortunately with sports – always a loser. Even when Max’s team wins, I can’t completely enjoy as I feel bad for the other team.
I have to get back to arting soon – I drew about 50 animals last week to show kiddies how to draw them… and I’d like to do my own work soon…
just gotta get through this subbing then I get to better acquaint with my new studio digs ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Ach, sports. You’re right: always a winner, always a loser. I’m surprised you couldn’t hear my cussing out there, ๐Ÿ™‚ I really have to mellow out about football.
You know, you’ll find your stride soon, AnnMarie, just as soon as you can settle into your new studio — and you will, you will. I’m seeing more lit journals that are looking for artwork — you could send, if you wanted to. Anyway, get through the subbing first. You know, it’s not like you’re not “doing,” not making art even when you are subbing — you are! Fifty animals — my God, that’s a lot of practice! Look at it that way, my friend.

      • I may have a few sales. Some of the 8th kiddies want to buy my sketches. I’ve already struck several deals for a dime a piece ๐Ÿ˜‰
I’m on my way to a bottle of soda but always working for the wine ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yes, I’m dreaming about the end of this month. I do hope the lovely teacher I’m subbing for will be okay though. Hopefully she can return to the class without much ankle pain ’cause that’s an on your feet job – no other way to run an art room.

      • Take the sales, take the money. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have decided to only drink wine on the weekends. (Sad emoticon — I don’t know what that is.) Yes, teaching is an on-your-feet job. I hope, for your sake, for your art/writing career, the teacher comes back. I know the $ is good, or at least it’s $, but sometimes time > $.

      • Sadly, the hours I put in subbing: before, during, after and weekends aren’t really covered by the pittance, but then I do this more for the flexibility (when it is flexible ;)) and the $ for chocolate and yes, WINE ๐Ÿ˜‰ So I should take those few dimes while I can;)

  2. ooooh money for chocolate….almost, but not quite, enough to make me consider subbing again. It’s been a long long time!
LOVE the propellers on this guy! ๐Ÿ™‚ You are one imaginative lady my friend! Of course, I’m thinking flight like the Wright brothers…but could be flight to run away and save himself?

    • I believe this subbing stint has turned into one of those character-building or breaking moments. If I can continue to figure out how to manage giant groups of hormone-infused kiddies, I just might run for president ๐Ÿ˜‰
The propellers are to jettison the big cat critter off if he decides he would rather fly than pounce. He can also swim with his webbed paws – it’s up to him – to dream or to do:)
I enjoy getting stuff out of my head. If it didn’t come out, there would be a worried household over here;)
      Happy Sunday, my friend.
and I’ll always find a way to buy chocolate;)
