I’ve never been accused of having it
there, out there
those ladies and gentlemen
you know who they are
they know who they are
who lived their first lives as display mannequins
clothes on their forms look right
and perfect
me
I stopped looking in mirrors that dip below eye-level
long ago

I’ll never be accused of having it
still
I’ll always appreciate those who do
it is, after all, an art form

  4. I suspect you have more fashion sense than I do. Just sayin’. 🙂
    It’s always so frustrating to see a great piece of clothing haning on a hanger … and then after trying it on realize the hanger wears it better than I do. That happens a lot.
    Great art, again! Glad to see you’re able to “work on the job” — that’s a great job to have! Love the contrast of dark and light here, as well as the ‘throw-back’ feel of the piece, classic.

  5. This is a delectable lady!!! Love the drawing….smiling I am.
    ah yes…..standing in front of the mirrors as we try on clothes — and swim suits are the most awful! I’ve always thought they should have those more gentle pinkish lights in dressing rooms, instead they are always so harsh!
    Dressing to the nines….tis an art for sure!
