tacky stardust

if it is to be found beneath my feet or quite far away
I cannot say
traveling by mind to land a dream
gathering dew at dawn
tying the glistening tails to paper strings
releasing when the moon is most silver
watching the drops float upward like crystal balloons
catching the tacky stardust
light gallops across infinite trails
hidden for too long
as another attempts
to add diamonds to the heavens

All my hats of late, have made my thinking cap most heavy. I need to take a little time away from the wonder that is blogging, to place some much needed focus on an art/writing project that is near and dear to my heart. I’ll miss this place and the many wondrous and amazingly talented people I’ve come to know:) I’ll return as soon as I can.

“And I know if I’ll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I’m laid to my rest”–

  1. We love you AnnMarie! Good luck with your project and when you comeback we will be all waiting here for you with welcoming arms. I’ll check out some of your past work while you are gone. I haven’t read or seen all your work. Have fun and you will be in my thoughts. AnnMarie=Number One! Woo hoo! Cheers for AnnMarie!

  2. A full, silvery moon traveled across the black skies last night; I saw it yet this morning. Somehow that planetary marvel up there seemed a fitting sight …
You’ve found one pot of gold here, in the blogosphere, and yet another awaits you elsewhere — and these words and art are proof of that. Still, you’ll always have this place to come back to, AM. You will add diamonds to the heavens (you already have), of that I’m most certain. Best wishes on your new endeavor, my friend. DS

  3. Have a good time and lots of wonderful stardust, by the way I would buy an Ann Together story book/art book if you put all your creations together or if there is one out there and I’m just dumb I’m sorry!

  4. Missing you my friend. Sitting here with foot up, really really bad sprained ankle with torn ligaments — a cane custom cut at the Bermuda Hospital for me…..and thinking about you 🙂 Hope you are taking the time to breathe, work on projects, and enjoy you. My morning cups of coffee, here in Bermuda are not the same. Have been playing hookie a bit myself from writing and the blog. Too much hiking and enjoying this amazing place….although now, with 3 to 5 days quarantined in the apartment and off my foot, will have time to get back to it. Arrive home on March 29…..take all the time you need dear friend. Your a special one!
