my spine unfurls

as I wrote this piece, I returned to the clean silence of the woods, like nothing else in the world

  1. beautiful work AnnMarie, How is the sales going with the book? I am keeping well writing in my food journal every day so i will get the best care. I talked to my sister about doing a new slasher book. I thought of writing a old short story into a book it was that cool. But I already had done that story and I felt I don’t want to repeat myself and want to always write new stories. Do you ever have that problem in your writing? I am very prolific because I move onto the next project fast not looking back. Hope your mother is doing well. ttys

    • thank you Dan
not really sure how the ebook is doing yet – won’t know for a while – I know I won’t be buying a yacht anytime soon๐Ÿ˜‰
yes, as far as repeating – I think many writers share the same problem – even in my poems – I get so mad at myself when I unintentionally use a word twice and don’t catch it
best thing is not to worry – always write what’s in your head – get it out and then deal with it – sometimes you’ll spring a better version of what you’ve done before and that’s never a bad thing
      am:)

I also love the new banner.
And I also love the comment: “clean silence of the woods” – I might have to steal that ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Remember: Iโ€™m a hypocrite – I say one thing, do another.
        Hence, my commenting. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Lots to talk about. Like, for instance, you getting your work out there. Like, for instance, you becoming/being the writer you were meant to be. Like, for instance, how your writing is soaring.
        Right? Am I right?
        Yes, I am.

        you’re not a hypocrite
        you’re a creative
you get to flip ‘n flop as often as you like
that’s what keeps us writer bees working
I’m forcing the words when sometimes I don’t think any are there – like squeezing an old sponge
I thank you for your inspiring thoughts!
        now get back to work!๐Ÿ˜‰
