I’m all Italian, but my husband harkens from many lands – Denmark, Norway, England, Scotland…
My folks Vito and Carmella are funny with the Italian thing – there’s definitely an instant, old-school Italian bond when they find out someone is all Italian 😉

Yea Rita B is the girl I wrote most of the stories about and we wrote letters to each other in college. I was always a big fan of hers and she was a friend to everyone. Cool love those Italian and Irish friendships and relationships. My sister has this theory I like women with the same color hair and same color eyes. Dark brown hair and dark eyes. Her theory was disproved with friends like Dawn, Ashley, Katie and Kathleen who all have red hair. That’s so cool your husband is both Scottish and English. One of my favorite horror actors is British Peter Cushing also Donald Pleasence. They served as inspiration for some of my horror stories. Donald did an awesome movie with Cushing ‘The Flesh And The Fiends’ playing an Irish bad guy. He blew all other actors off screen got that movie for my birthday. I like that I hear Italians are a very close family and affectionate. Family is important. Rita as I can tell very close to her family. Her mom looks exactly like her just a little older and her sister Mona looks a lot like her too. Rita has a baby Leo and I can’t wait until he grows up so I can write stories for him. I wrote one story for him already it was real good.

And now another movie for my list this summer 🙂
And yes, family is important – it’s really quite a wonderful thing when everyone gets along 🙂
