Sibella is a creative lady who entertains multiple muses. Her blog, Arts and Rhymes is a treasure trove of both art and poetry. Sibella is one of those rare folks who strives to bring peace to us all. She delivers inspiration in colorful graphics, amazing portraits, uplifting prose, lovely song…and I could go on, but she is quite modest and I’m sure I’ve already embarrassed her 🙂 I’ve reblogged this particular piece because this amazing lantern image brings not only light, but a smile to my face. Stop by Sibella’s blog if you’d like to view more or become part of this talented artist’s world.

Nice post AnnMarie. You’re such a sweetheart – a Creepy one of course.
I can’t believe that Sabilla’s new to watercolors, she certainly makes it look easy!
Thanks for sharing, I’m headed her way now.

I know right, watercolors are by far the most difficult medium to master.
Sibella, is really versatile.

AnnMarie, so glad you shared Sibella’s blog with your readers — especially this particular post … love the lanterns and (as I told her on her blog) the light that shines through. It’s a beautiful watercolor! I know that Sibella is a talented poet as well — darn jealous of you “double-talents” who move easily in and out of and between the worlds of words & images! 🙂

I really like this piece too. I thought it was lovely she used a friend’s photo for reference – quite a compliment 🙂

Just home — mounds of laundry —- hope to catch up on all my favorite friends in the next few days! Still in my jammies having just emptied the suitcase and sorted for laundry piles….sun is shining and it is nice to don summer clothes again!
See you tomorrow AM with my cup o joe in hand, my friend! 🙂

Welcome back to Beantown, Lillian. Hope the coffee is just as tasty on the seventh floor. I did mounds of laundry today, and I didn’t go anywhere;)
I’ve fallen a bit behind myself and my WP schedule is off.
Sibella is a very talented artist and a genuinely kind person too. I know you will enjoy her work as well as her prose:)

I passed the coffee point – it’s Sunday wine time!

ah….so good to be back and looking at your wonderful work. As I mentioned in a reply to you today….came home with an upper respiratory virus….hacking away. Yech!
But the 7th floor coffee, in my own pot, is superb! 🙂 As is the chardonny!

Lillian,
So very sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m guessing you’ll recover quickly as long as you’re not running about doing too much laundry.
Coffee, wine, coffee, wine and some oj in between:)
