My Friends,
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today.”
Thank you. May you have a dream too…
Blue Horses painted for a selfless friend and healer
Lovely painting of a dream that WILL come true! 🙂

Gosh, Miss AM, you’re really “on it” with the posts! I’m dragging behind. Love this art! So beautiful — and healing to look/gaze at. I’ve been at the ‘Mastodon cafe’ staring at that golden animal, wondering what AM could do with that animal. Looking at today’s art, at these horses, it seems you can do whatever you darn well feel like — and dream of — drawing! My pencils and pens are downright jealous. 🙂

Ah, give a big warm hiddy ho to that most auspicious of mascots. These horses were done 2 years ago for a physical therapist friend who wouldn’t take money for rehabilitating my left shoulder. I’d lost movement due to sheer stupidity. For years, I loved showing off how I could still throw a ball for Rocky, the Shepherd – every morning I did this, I’d say, “AnnMarie perhaps you should stretch a little before.” Never did. And one day at 48, I woke and couldn’t lift my arm above my head… Blue horses for a working arm – not nearly enough payment…
Thanks, Deb! And I think you have blue horses in you 🙂 Your graphics are wondrous!
AM 🙂

You’re supposed to “warm up” before you exercise? I’m laughing, because I never do! And Bob always tells me I’m “gonna pull something,” and it appears you did pull your shoulder muscle, so it must be true! 🙂 I’ll bet you can throw a ball farther than I can — somehow I’ve lost my ability to send a round object on its trajectory. And horse? Huh-uh, don’t think so, Miss. Confession: Last night I tried to draw Harold (of Purple Crayon fame); my Harold was laughable, totally. A horse, I think, would be even tougher! But thanks for the encouragement, LOL. 🙂

Yes, warmups are most critical as I’ve learned. Perhaps, horse drawing will gallop in down yonder post road. 😉
AM :-)Don’t lose that Crayola confidence!!!

Oh my gosh, this is one of my favorite works you’ve done. I’m horse crazy. Admittedly. Still this is totally gorgeous. I’m sure your girlfriend has this in a place of honor on her wall. Awesome job.

This was done for a person of the male persuasion. 🙂 It hangs in his physical therapy business. The very same place where he so kindly got my arm working at 100% again 🙂
The horse facing you has an aliment, but knows shell will heal with therapy 😉
Thank you,
AnnMarie 🙂

I love the way the horse in the foreground seems to be thinking about whether to follow the others or go a different way. I wish you many wonderful dreams, too, AnnMarie!

That’s exactly what the horse is doing 🙂 Thinking which way should he choose.
Have a lovely week.
