Jasper the Mad Jester & Universal Clown makes sculpt no. 8 for me. What a clay quest I’ve been on – each character brings their own set of unique challenges. Learning as I go – each trip takes my mind away from the real world. Jasper is 12″ tall from boot to tip of hat.
Jasper dances and sprinkles stars through many universes. When in our galaxy, he enjoys dangling the moon and placing a gold ‘disco’ boot upon the earth to quietly remind – the joke is on us – as we sometimes think we’re quite grand – we control nothing at all – the universe will always have the upper hand.

Great post, AM. The photos of your fella are spectacular—and those eyes of his, man, they’re really deep and dark, and he’s so serious about his role in the universe. I really, really like what you’ve done with his face; you’ve turned the 2D cartoonish guy into a 3D dude who’s serious about his mission. DS

Hey AnnMarie You are one of the more gifted artists I’ve ever seen and remember no one can take that away from you. My sister still isn’t stable but that is the sad part of the illness recovery time is different for everyone she’s going back to work. I think she will do fine. I’m having fun writing my friday the 13th group about a group that only accepts disabled members. The series can be uplifting and dark. Sam who is inspired by a mental health worker who was born when I was in high school she is a best friend and group member that has a bad night sleeps with a heavy drug addict sleazeball and right away gets pregnant and takes the abortion pill because she doesn’t want to pass on her bipolar and have a drug addicted baby. She gets triggered by it and tries to kill herself ends up in the hospital the doctors screw her up when they take a medication away from her that could cause her serious health problems but she slips into a world of her own and talking ragtime the main character visits her every day and his gf dumps because she finds someone else after three months Sam gets out of it back stable and enters a relationship right away with the main character and thats a happy end to that storyline. take care anniemarie may the force be with you!
