Oh my…..whatever made me try to knit 5 afghans (1 for each grandchild), and two sweaters (daughter and daughter-in-law) for this Christmas!!!??? Last afghan finished Dec 28 at 11:30 AM —- daughter and family arrived at 1:30 PM. Managed to get it all done but was sleep deprived in the process! But — all is good. I am getting back to my writing and morning reading. Impossible to catch up on reading so shall just be practical and start from here 🙂 We can only move forward, right? So wishing you a happy and healthy 2017 my friend…and hoping we can arrange to meet at the train station in Durham?? LOVE this little sweet girl….hugs to you and yours!

I think I heard you tinkling the ivories from here, AM — sounds great!
And I do so agree: sometimes I think we need darkness to emerge as better individuals into the light … at least I’m hoping that from 2017. If we’d all learn to “steer by the stars” and our hearts instead of the crass, over-produced and falsely-created sensations we’d all be better off. (Sorry, waxing a tad philosophical this a.m.)
