Casino Limbo-Character No.2

Sculpt no. 11 – Casino Limbo
Wallace Traveller Esq. (My Wallace was inspired by Nick Park’s fabulously whimsical claymation characters, Wallace and Gromit) is the second of four characters living in my latest sculpt, Casino Limbo. After having travelled the world, Wallace Traveller is none the wiser. He is, however, quite cheerful and full of cheese. His carpet bag is packed to the brim with molding dairy products.

(I plan to post each character individually before posting the full tableau – as they’re not full-view once positioned ’round the table.)

Well, I’m back on Instagram again. Not sure where it will take me or my new sculpts, but we’ll see 😊

The Loveland Frogman

This cryptid sculpt is the Loveland Frogman. I created collages of a few cryptid/creature illustrations for the UFO Fair (loads of outrageous fun- JUNE 7th – Pine Bush, NY).

My husband, Keith, requested the Frogman collage (orange bkgd painting shown) to hang over his desk. Now, as I’ve crashed into sculpting, he requested a Frogman sculpt to live as a silent desk-partner. I’m glad he asked for this critter. The Frogman was great fun to make.

Have a wonderful weekend🐰🪻I hope you’re managing through the madness.
For those who celebrate the day – Hoppy Easter🐸!

3,000 Pieces of Candy

‘Tis true – we dwell in a ufo-embracing town – the kind that breathes Halloween – aliens, creatures, princesses and all – in every deliciously macabre direction

Armed with 3,000 pieces of candy, we’re ready for the costumed onslaught.

Happy Halloween
Be safe
Be smart
and remember – over-sugaring doesn’t make us sweet;)

Voting draws near – choose wisely

I’m ready for Halloween. 3,000 pieces of candy purchased. (I do not exaggerate – Trick-or-Treat is rather insane here in upstate NY:)

Life is Short

My Friends,

Life is short
Throw jellybeans at a giant
Challenge a lion to a dueling roar
Whisper into the wind’s ear
Sail the ocean aboard a paper boat
Howl at the moon during sunrise

Life is short
Live it long…

Fall’n Stars

Dear Friends,
Last week at 5 AM, as the giant husband and I were taking our morning walk, I noticed something quite beautiful. The sleepy, white moon was preparing to let the sun take over. The road surface was slick from the previous night’s rain. Though the street was dark, it appeared illuminated by starlight. Wet leaves of orange, russet and gold were reflecting moon glow. The fallen leaves flickered atop the black asphalt. Their angular shapes shimmered as stars do in the night sky. It seemed for a beautiful, brief moment that the earth had flipped over onto her lovely head.

Thank you. May you dream of stars in heaven and on earth.
