I’ve been so focused on improving my writing, I’ve been neglecting my art of late. Someday, I will again have time to do both. I’m thrilled to have my artwork–a large piece 4’x4′ in real life–be featured in, The A3 Review Gold Issue, #8, April 2018–it’s a pocket-sized magazine sizzling with bountiful brilliance. I am vain

This piece inspired by my face, currently a disaster of stress rash. Apparently, holding back, in an attempt to be monstrously strong, isn’t good for you. I can now use my face like a 70’s mood ring. Never believed I was vain, but lately I’m hiding in the shadows along with my creatures.

I am stone

The lady you see in the background was a sculpture I created way, way back, my junior year of high school. I was ever the wilful child turned into obstinate teen and did not take direction well. My art teacher warned me of clay thicknesses. I didn’t listen. The sculpt, 3 feet in length, did not live long. All that remains of her – a few photos that I treasure as a reminder- there is always more to learn from others – listen well and learn – always learn
