blackest days

school right around the corner, time doesn’t fly it rockets
I’ve been altering colored photos of my children when they were younger and appeared more innocent๐Ÿ˜‰
I enjoy stepping away from pencil and pen once in awhile and pretend I’m a photographer

Spitfire – a little Saturday fun

I rarely post videos. When I do, they’re musically driven.
I adore Helen Humes, spitfire R&B diva’s version of, “Drive Me Daddy,” a ‘let’s-go-let-it-go,’ song.
Through this song, Miss Hume’s captures a fearless, life-affirming style!
I can’t help but smile, smirk and sing along.
Happy Weekend!

DRIVE ME DADDY – MISS HELEN HUMES

THOUGHTS OUT TO TEXAS THIS MORNING

magic

I created this wizard to raise funds for a local high school’s Senior Night. I wish I’d taken better pictures of the darn guy before I gave him away. Live and learn! ๐Ÿ˜˜ – thank you

missing my sis

This is a photo of my lovely sister, Dolores. If it weren’t for her beautiful blue eyes watching over me growing up, I would’ve gotten into loads more trouble. I was quite the wiseass all the way into my 20’s. We had a lot of laughs together. I miss her dearly and wished she lived closer. ๐Ÿ˜˜

forever eclipsed

eclipsing in my neck of the woods around 1:20 PM
don’t forget those all-important eclipse goggles ๐Ÿ˜Žfor safe viewing

RolePlaying

his bliss

this affectionate guy created at the Jersey Shore while I was in a lovely morning mood ๐Ÿ˜˜ – thank you

You might want to check out the talented DS Levy’s new chapbook, A Binary Heart – loving my copy!

deliciously dark

DS Levy is one of those brave writers who pens the heart darkly. She transports you to uncomfortable places and makes you think, sometimes cry. This isn’t sweet and saucy fare. A Binary Heart is brutal emotion, honestly formed.
